You submit a request, and our specialists work to locate the specific number you requested, pretty simple.
Just about anything you can think of, we can try and locate if it is available. Give it a try; what do you have to lose.
That really depends on the specific request and what we have to do to secure the phone number. We will provide you with the costs before you proceed with the purchase and provide you with an estimate when you first submit your request. The typical costs run in-line with similar numbers found on our site.
We quote 90 days, to be safe, but we typically fill requests within 30 days. We will keep you informed throughout the process.
Number Porting
Number porting, or the industry term, Local Number Portability (LNP), basically provides you with the ability to take any phone number, which is in an account with your name, and move it to any service provider. There are some limitations as it relates to porting numbers to land line phones, it must be within the physical area of the specific area code. For more information, contact our number porting department prior to purchasing a new number.
Typically your current phone company will not charge you to port the new number. To be sure, check with your current phone company.
The porting process typically takes anywhere from 5 to 30 days, it depends on multiple factors. We like to quote 10 to 30 days just to be safe, however, there are times that it can take more than 30 days.
When you port a new number to any existing service, you old number is dropped from your account and will be placed in a queue for other new account holders.
We do allow you to have all of your calls from your new number to be forwarded to your old number while the porting process takes place. We do however bill you for the costs incurred for forwarding those calls.
